Create a basic weapon that can damage enemies or destroy obstacles.

Choose / Add an actor. Bombs or Lasers are a good choice.

Make the weapon appear when a key is pressed.

Set the weapon’s position equal to your characters position.

If your weapon should move ( arrows, lasers, bombchus etc. ), add movement.  After the movement, hide.

Your weapon should damage any actor it touches. Add an IF block so that: If touching any actor then subtract 1 from the actors health.

In this example, the actor that is touched / hit with the weapon has a property named “health”.

Your weapon will damage what ever actor it touches.  To keep it from damaging yourself or other actors, modify the IF block like so:

In this example “codey” is the name of the actor that should not be damaged.
